Dove hunting: what a great few years.  So far Doves are abundant, no trouble getting those limits if you know where to go.

Quail:  the population of quails has really dropped in the last few years because of the drought; however, this year was better than last year. Best bet is down in the southern part of the state.

Waterfowl is good this year slightly better than last year. Believe it or not there are good areas to hunt in the deserts of New Mexico.

Grouse has been very good this year but there are only a few good areas to hunt them.

New Mexico Pheasant hunting is a very short hunt and basically if you are not in a hunting club or on private, your odds are very slim. However, Los Lunas is one of the best hunting areas if you can get permission to hunt.
