Jason is a huge outdoorsman who loves the Land of Enchantment. His passion is showing you, as an individual, the magical flight of the Bow and Arrow. I have worked with other bow pros but never one with so much passion for the sport. Jason is the type of pro you can call in the field and or find him during his hunts. Jason will work with you, or get someone to help you. With Jason’s help I have become a true archer. I went from a guy that my field shot maximum was only 40 yards to accurately shooting at 100 yards. With the bow he supplied and tuned, I was able to take an antelope at 110 yards ethically…
Archery Tip..
Once you have tuned your bow with a pro and you're shooting fairly well, what we call in bow shape, try this trick for final tune up days before the hunt. Have your target set up at 40 yards. Get to the line, shoot first shot. Mark that spot, repeat this for 5 days if possible. If all your shots are centered after 5 days, then you're dead on. If your shots are let’s say all slightly left, the do the final adjustment to the left. This will put you dead on. Remember in the field its usually one shot and the first shot that gets your game…..
The difference between bow hunting and rifle hunting is once you see your quarry with a rifle, generally you shoot and hunts over and the work begins….. When bow hunting and you see your quarry, the hunt just began. You now have a one on one with that animal. Your job is to outsmart your game and to get into range for a bow shot.
